Google to delete 300 applications that penetrate the android phones

in technology •  7 years ago

Google has deleted more than 300 applications from the Play Store because of its penetration of many Android devices and its involvement in DDoS attacks.

According to the site "Gizmodo", the applications deleted from the application store penetrated more than 70 thousand Android devices in 100 countries around the world.

Google found that these applications, once installed on one of the smart phones running Android, turn the device into a platform to send intensive requests to enter certain sites to stop it from work.

And "DDoS" attacks on specific sites, by clicking on their servers with heavy data from the phantom and anonymous source, causing the slow or discontinuing services of that site.

Researchers from companies such as Akamai, Cloudflowers, Google and Google are struggling to combat this kind of malware, which caught their attention on Aug. 17.
