Galaxy Note 10: new leak rumors at futuristic feature that you won't find on any other phone...

Samsung has been hard at work to remain on the cutting edge of innovation when it comes to your mobile device. It's flagship lines, The Galaxy S Series and productive powerhouse Note Series, have been nothing to snuff about.

The latest iteration in this family, the Galaxy Note 10, has recently recieved a release date of August 7th, but already the rumors of specs are coming quick and heavy.. but if the latest leak is anything to go by, Samsung has installed a feature into this device that is most certainly a game-changer..

In a tweet earlier today, reputable Samsung leaker, Ice Universe revealed some info about the latest design models that are set to house the Note 10 hardware. While the tweet claims the Note's "chin" and "forehead" will be very narrow, on par with the iPhone, it does drop a juicy nugget of an observation.. notably, the lack of speaker grooves on the forehead..

Wait. what? the phone is being shipped sans-speakers?? It would appear so.. but the implications of this design mean that this will be Samsung's first phone to come packaged with Sound on Display (SoD) Technology..

You heard that right, Samsung has been secretly working on and apparently perfecting a form of technology to replace built in speakers and eliminate the bezel almost completely. The tech is designed to vibrate the glass panel to act as the speaker.. insane..

Unfortunately for many, this does also seem to abolish any and all hopes of the device also coming equipped with a headphone jack.. something Samsung had brought back in last years releases in fan service.

Luckily, I am not in the market for a phone at the moment.. the Note 10 will undoubtedly hit shelves with a $1000+ price tag. That for the base model, I don't want to even think about what the Note 10 Pro will retail at..

So what do YOU think? Do you, or have you, owned a Samsung phone? Are you planning on buying a new device this year? Will Sound on Display (SoD) technology be the way forward, or should we wait and see if built in speakers can still pack a punch? Sound off in the comments below
