Russian Scientists Make "Superman" Costumes That Survive The Grenade Explosion

in technology •  7 years ago

The Scientists from Russia claim to have designed a super costume that can be used in warfare. It was so great that the costume could withstand the grenade blast and the flames.

The costume is made with a heat-resistant aramid material for 30 seconds from the flames directly. In the test try, the costume was used by passing several grenade and fire explosions that led to the wearer.

The "Superman" costume is part of Russia's future military system called Ratnik. This program is indeed prepared to create the next generation of war costumes in the future.

In addition to having a thermal system that can withstand heat, Ratnik's costumes also have the ability to see in the dark and other sophisticated equipment.

The secret of its own toughness comes from materials that use aramid synthetic fibers commonly used in shipbuilding and aircraft.

Currently the costume is still in the developer stage in the hands of scientists. It is estimated that Ratnik has been able to use it in 2020.

The Russian military had previously been leaking other Ratnik costumes used to increase stamina and soldier powers.

The Ratnik uniform kit includes dozens of components, including firearms, body armor, and optical, communication and navigation devices, as well as life support and power supply systems. Izhmash Unmanned Systems is a Russian developer and manufacturer of UAVs. The company has developed Takhion UAV as well as a product line of Granat drones for the Russian Armed Forces.
