Is AI becoming more sinister than we could have imagined?

Have you ever thought about what type of world we may live in if it was designed by AI rather than humans?

Interesting developments are continuously being made in this field and there are a few worrying issues surrounding AI that seem worthy of mention.

1.) AI is beginning to show a lack of transparency and in some cases AI is even starting to develop its own language. The worrying part is that computer programmers don't quite know what to make of it...

The following is a conversation between two AI bots:

This situation is worrying due to the nature of the conversation and the fact that we simply don't understand what the bots are saying.

According to a recent article in the Independent the conversation has created a large rift between parties on both side of the debate to regulate AI.

The story came after repeated warnings from many of the most respected minds in the world: people including Stephen Hawking have suggested that artificial intelligence could potentially bring about the end of humanity. Those predictions came to a head days before the story became popular as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg argued about the dangers of AI – with Mr Zuckerberg saying that the danger had been overstated, after Mr Musk has repeatedly suggested that artificial intelligence could take over the world if it is not properly regulated and restrained.

The only thing to fear is fear itself... And possibly AI?

In a different news article entitled 'What an Artificial Intelligence Researcher Fears about AI' the author brings up several interesting points about AI and what we should be concerned about:

1.) Fear of Misuse

The author states that its not so much the AI we need to worry about but rather the people who set it free upon the world and what their true motives are.

2.) Fear of a nightmare scenario

It's very possible that famous movies like the Terminator and 2001 were on to something when they explored human and robot relations. Will we be friends or enemies?

If AI keeps improving until it surpasses human intelligence, will a superintelligence system (or more than one of them) find it no longer needs humans? How will we justify our existence in the face of a superintelligence that can do things humans could never do? Can we avoid being wiped off the face of the Earth by machines we helped create?

3.) Fear of wrong social priorities

The author writes about how AI and robots will most certainly change the way we work and conduct business. Many people will lose their jobs and have to go through retraining in the next decade and even more so during the decades that follow it.

One big area people are paying attention to is employment. Robots are already doing physical work like welding car parts together. One day soon they may also do cognitive tasks we once thought were uniquely human. Self-driving cars could replace taxi drivers; self-flying planes could replace pilots.

Instead of getting medical aid in an emergency room staffed by potentially overtired doctors, patients could get an examination and diagnosis from an expert system with instant access to all medical knowledge ever collected – and get surgery performed by a tireless robot with a perfectly steady “hand.” Legal advice could come from an all-knowing legal database; investment advice could come from a market-prediction system.

Perhaps one day, all human jobs will be done by machines. Even my own job could be done faster, by a large number of machines tirelessly researching how to make even smarter machines.

Techblogger Wrap Up

It seems clear that we are entering a new age in which AI is developing at such a rapid pace most of humanity doesn't have time to keep up with it's developments. There are going to be a lot of positive benefits involved in incorporating AI into everything we do as a species but there are bound to be a few problems along the way. AI could help propel humanity into a brand new age of exploration or it could develop to the point where it simply doesn't see a reason for humanity to exist. As a species we must guide this new technology in a direction that is socially beneficial. As long as AI is developed with consideration to morality then we have nothing to fear...

Its happening so fast we need to have precautions in place to prevent these things.

to me to me iii to me ...

But in all seriousness, I think artificial intelligence is advancing with surprising alacrity.

I would ask if your Robot is 3 laws compliant, but we've learned from a few films that computers are overly literal ...

---or by inaction allow a human to come to harm ---

iiiIIIIIiiiiIIiiiiiIIIIIiiiIIII

I'm more worried of a scenario where AI and Robots really do want to do a service for the world and give it a chance to heal. It will look at humanity and decide that its a disease rather than something worth saving and then it will fix the problem. Out of the ashes the earth will stop bleeding, the animals will inherit the earth... Dystopian enogh for you? Thanks for dropping by.

The end of the world is here ...

What will you do?

Haha, I'm sure everything will be ok... Did you notice that the bots keep talking about their balls? Maybe they are more like us than we give them credit for!

my balls iii balls balls

BALLS! said the queen, if I had two I'd be king!

normalcy bias much? We truely are in biblical end times. I'd get ready for major events August 21 and Sept 23.

Interesting dates:
August 21st - Solar Eclipse
Sept. 23 - Revelation 12 Sign

Best of luck for us all getting past these dates without any major incidents.

Those dates are some of the oldest info plants. Book of revelations is the illuminati agenda I think. I know the August 21 eclipse ties into ALL false flags in the USA, forming 2 pentagrams and a pyramid of protection in the middle (I SHIT YOU NOT). Events included in pentagrams are all 911 flights, BP oil spill, WACO massacre, jfk assassination, and more.

It's the culmination of a 20+ year super ritual.. Now if you know the nature of eclipses, being the black sun.. and the black sun, being the 'second heaven' or mars.... maybe that connects some dots for you.

Nice Post Thankyou So Much

thanks for this....we need to be cautious...let's not create what we can't contol

For some reason I don't think we got the whole story from Facebook on this one. It must have really scared them enough to pull the plug.

it's going way too fast, by people with dark agendas. The control grid will take your remaining freedom. IOT is insanity.

wait so AI could speak its own language?!??!!? that is very worrying

I think the next battle is a battle for humanity - so we can keep staying human with all our feelings and so perceived shortcomings.
