Based on older Russian idea, Hungarian "Big Wind" project was for the first time used to deal with Kuwait oil fires in 1991.
Using two MiG-21 engines, mounted on a T34 or T62 tank chassis, this machine can blast, at very high speed, a huge amount of fine mist of water to extinguish a resilient fires, blown out gas or oil-well fires.

Original Russian concept was used to blow out the snow from railways, roads or airport runways by using single Mig-15 or Mig-17 jet engine.
Simple, effective and probably very noisy.
