The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will change our observations of phenomena occurring in the entire universe unrecognizable. It will be such a precise instrument that thanks to it we will get images of the first stars and galaxies that formed just after the Big Bang.
We will also get information on the formation of galaxies and star systems, and we will discover new, friendly lives of the planet, and perhaps even traces of alien civilizations.
Unfortunately, more and more signs in the sky and earth indicate that JWST will be carried out into space much later than it was assumed so far. NASA has already had a few breaks, but finally the deadline was set for March-June 2019.
Now, however, it turns out that James Webb Space Telescope may not fly at all in 2019. The US Congressional Audit Institution (GAO) in its report said that NASA is facing quite serious technical problems and the agency may not fit into the budget for building JWST.
