Great speed on the road!

On the road now in Naples, Florida. I just checked quickly to see what speed I was getting from LTE from T-Mobile. WOW! Usually the speed is pretty bad from many carriers on the road.

Well, I'm delighted to get this. It is good enough to get some Steemit posts together. I'll remember this for the future.

How is your speed on the road? Any tricks or tips you want to share with your fellow Steemians about how to get the best speed and optimization when on the road? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!

Terry

That speed is better than my home internet :D

You might think about getting a new phone and checking on speed levels with the various carriers. I don't know what it will be like elsewhere but this speed, on the road, from my cell phone with personal hot spot to other devices, is pretty danged cool!

I agree. It's amazing how far technology has gotten. One of my favorite movies when I was a kid was "Back to the Future" and I remember watching how they had phone conversation where they can see each other and I remember saying to my self that is only in the movies. And now I am stunned to see how much of what was a fantasy has turned in to a reality. And we have plenty more to come :)

Terry, I just got 10.0 & 4.3 on the road in CT.

That is not bad.

You lucky guy!

Yes, I know. I kinda' like it!

Tips to faster speed on the road:

  1. Ride a Ferrari
  2. Ride with a girl named Ferrari.

I love it, @nedspeaks! Very clever! Nice to hear from you!

Enjoy Italy. My wife loves Orvieto. I might live there when I retire. She said a funny thing one day. “ Orvieto smells like I imagine heaven would smell.”

Italy? Well, yes, I think they have a Naples in Italy :-) but this is Naples, Florida! Southwest side of it with plenty of great sunset views! Always great to hear from you, Ned!

Lmao, I thought you were in Italy and trying to sort out the internet. I love Florida. Worked at Mercy hospital Miami a few years ago. My cousin heads the Tallahassee NASA aero propulsion systems. So Florida has been good to me and my family. Talking about speed my original stance remains. A Ferrari.

I like your idea of a Ferrari. Sounds good whether you're in Florida (Naples or elsewhere!) or North Carolina! Nice to hear from you, Dr. Ned!

T-Mobile is quite good in my experience. It took my fiancé like 3 years of crappy Sprint service for her to finally make the jump over. I always had the bars when she didn’t. What’s strange is that I noticed T-Mobile will drop out in the middle of urban areas. Other than that thumbs up.

I'm using both T-Mobile and Sprint. I like the T-Mobile speed. Sprint also has great service. I like have 2 so if one doesn't work in a particular place, the other usually does.

such a lucky person @terrybrock

It is luck by pursuing what works and making that happen. Of course, it will be good to check it in other places too in order to get a better perspective. Thank you for the comment!

My pleasure @terrybrock 😊😊
