I'm struck and frankly, frightened by the number of comments that think this is awesome that the police have this great technology to catch "criminals".

Honestly, I would hope that these are just comment spammers and not a representation of how gullible the pubic has become.

I never thought the day would come but, please, please, please tell me that you're all just trying to suck up to @doitvoluntarily.

    Agreed... This is not technology that the police need to do their jobs. I find it frightening how quickly people are to want to give up their liberty in the name of "security" .
