Safest cars according Euro NCAP

Last year 2017, Euro NCAP tested more than 60 new cars. Most of them have won five stars but differences are in details.

During the years there are huge improvements in passenger safety. Lets take example, Fiat Punto was first produced in 2005, and it accomplished 5 stars in Euro NCAP test in 2005, but now 18 years later they tested it again and it accomplished 0 stars. So you don't need to be some specialist to realize that older cars are not safe an new ones. For example average old of cars in Croatia is 12.5 years and every year it increases, because we are second market for cars, Germany sells older vehicles and people from eastern Europe buy them.

This is top 10 cars according to Euro NCAP, maximum points that car can collect is 400.

1.Volvo XC60- got 365/400points

2.Volkswagen Arteon- luxury limo got 348/400 points.

3.Volvo s90/V90 gor 344/400 points.

4.SubaruXV it is SUV 335/400 points.

5.Kia Stinger impressive design and driveability from Kia 334/400 points.

6.Mercedes Benz X-klasse the safest pickup ever made 334/400

7.Subaru Impreza 333/400 points

8.Volkswagen T-roc 333/400 points, they said it is the safest small SUV
