Did you know? The station "Voice of America" is broadcasting in many languages, including Hausa! (+Video!)

I have an amateur radio transceiver and sometimes I use it to listen to various broadcasts outside the amateur radio bands.

You can often discover interesting things on the shortwave bands. I have a very simple antenna, but I can often hear stations from the other side of the planet. (I even speak with them sometimes on the amateur radio bands!)

In 2015, I heard and recorded that the "Voice of America" station is broadcasting in Hausa language.
The station "Voice of America" is an international public broadcaster, so Hausa is one of the many languages that they use in their broadcasts.
Hausa is a Chadic (Afro-Asiatic) language with more than 70+ million native speakers.
I recorded this video on 2015 December 26.
I didn't know (I never heard) about the Hausa language before. Probably I am not alone with this, so I decided to show you how it's sounds.
