It's official: China's bus was a scam and have begun to dismantle all its infrastructure

And when we thought we would not hear anything about China's overhead bus, the Qinhuangdao city government has confirmed that all infrastructure will be withdrawn and that they will legally prosecute those responsible.

For those who do not remember it, in May 2016 was announced one of the most interesting and attractive projects in public transport, which consisted of a huge bus with a design that would allow you to pass over the cars on the roads. In August, in 2016, the bus was opened with great fanfare, but after a few trips it was abandoned for no apparent reason.

The Straddling Bus has been abandoned since August last year caused more traffic than usual, something that precisely sought to solve. The problem is that the test lane is located at 305 meters on one of the most important highways in the city, where it occupies two lanes and creates every day a hell of a bottleneck.

The bus only had a route with passengers the day of its inauguration and never again it was used again. Today, TEB, the company responsible for the project, has abandoned its offices and nothing is known about the money invested in this project as well as contracts with the cities of Nanyang, Shenyang, Tianjin and Zhoukou, who were interested in installing this Bus on their roads.

The Chinese government has given permission for all the infrastructure used for the Straddling Bus to be dismantled, so that everything will return to normal. Right now both the rails (or rails) of the road and the station are being withdrawn, while the fate of the bus is still unknown.

Some Chinese media say that everything was an advertising strategy to find investors interested in this project, where even people are believed to be involved.
