The three new iPhones are finally here. All the three phones represent an upgrade, the iPhone XS , iPhone XS Max which os the large variant, iPhone XR which is upon the design of the iPhone X.

Many things remain the same as last year’s flagships but some things have definitely improved. The new iPhones come with bigger and sharper displays, new aluminum and stainless steel design and, and most importantly more power that is the all-new A12 Bionic chipset, the new iPhones are much faster and more power efficient. Let’s see how the new iPhones improve on last year’s flagship.

Here are some upgrades which I personally find better then previous generation Iphone :

A12 Bionic Chipset

It is more powerful than previous chipsets, A12 Bionic based on the Fusion architecture is significantly faster and more power-efficient Apple claims. Besides the bump in speed, the biggest noticeable change is a new eight-core neural processing unit (NPU) which allows apps the use of real-time AI algorithms for all kinds of use-cases.

The A12 Bionic is not only smarter but also the industry’s first commercially available chipset manufactured with a 7nm process.

New Face ID

Apple introduced face Id last year which turns out to be a successful step for the company and now all three new iPhones now feature a newer and improved version of Apple’s Face ID. While Apple did not share specific numbers, the new Face ID is faster at assessing faces and unlocking the iPhone XS, XS Max, and the iPhone XR. Needless to say, Touch ID has been dropped completely from the lineup.

Battery backup

last year on Iphone X battery backup was good and now apple claims that the newer genrations Iphone will have better battery backup than Iphone X which is basically the most important upgrade and which improve the performance of the phone with a longer usage time.

These are some major upgrades for the new generation Iphone XS, Iphone XS max and the Iphone XR.
