Today, a little history of the Russian oil fields development.
The village in the Perm region, named Chernushka, has a rich history. Appearing on the map in 1854, 60 years later it was intended to become an important point of the Kazan railway (Kazan — Yekaterinburg line). During the war it played the role of rear evacuation center with the plant producing the phones of military field communication and a workshop on repair of aircraft UT-2.
But, the main historical event happened here 70 years ago, in the autumn of 1949, in Chernushinsky district (village Kalinovka) oil explorers arrived who changed the region forever.
Three exploration wells, located in the area of the river Bystryi Tanyp, gave, in 1951, a serious amount of oil! The Tanypskoye field with initial recoverable reserves of 35 million tons of oil began to be actively developed.
In 1956, at the nearby, even larger, Pavlovsky field, an industrial inflow of oil was obtained, the initial recoverable reserves were 66 million tons of oil. Two years later on the basis of field there was an oilfield management which was transferred to Chernushka. The village in a short time became one of the “oil capitals” of the Kama region. And Tanyp and Pavlovka became the keystone for the development of the oil South of the Perm region and the discovery of other large deposits.
In the autumn of 1983, local Newspapers wrote: “for a quarter of a century, 111 million tons of oil were produced, more than 500 million rubles of capital investments were attracted, 3.8 million meters of rocks were drilled. Oil and gas production Department “Chernushkaneft” provides today half of Permian oil”.
By the way, oil fields came through the crisis of the 80’s and 90’s, and today still remain the leaders of the South of the Kama region.
