Intel announced that it will enter the Bitcoin mining industry with new processors to be released this year.

Bitcoin and crypto mining have taken its place in the world of technology as a growing system that almost exploits its its graphics cards on the market. Many technology giant companies are also developing projects to take part in this market.

In a new blog post, technology giant Intel announced the future of new processors at the end of the year to further strengthen blockchain technology. In other words, Intel has now entered the Bitcoin mining business, so to speak. As you know, Bitcoin mining requires a tremendous amount of computing power and is therefore a process that consumes a lot of energy. That's why Intel wants to develop computing technologies that help Bitcoin miners consume less energy.

New processors will be called "Bonanza Mine

To design and create new blockchain hardware, Intel has created a new Custom Computing Group that will work under Raja Koduri's accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) Business Unit. In fact, there's already a lot of information about the chip giant's new Bitcoin mining equipment. In fact, Intel has already moved to the second generation Bonanza Mine chip known as BMZ2.

This new chip has a proprietary architecture designed specifically to accelerate SHA-256 processing for ultra-low voltage Bitcoin mining. Intel claims that these energy-efficient chips will perform better than more than 1000 times the main GPUs per watt for SHA-256-based mining.

It is not clear when we will see Intel's Bonanza Mine chips, which can fundamensically change crypto mining.
