I really think Steem itself is a very good (long term) investment, especially if the derivative apps take off. Did you notice Utopian by @elear already? And what about https://dsound.audio/, this is like SoundCloud but it's connected to / runs on Steem as a reawrds mechanism.

Remember my comments about how Steem functions as an entrance to the world of Cryto Assets? Especially for people not capable of investing fiat for crypto, Steem - and their spin-off apps (!!!) - is the perfect entrance to acquiring a decent amount of crypto capital.

Now imagine what those type of spin-offs, running on Steem, especially Steem, can and probably will do for the Steem market cap. It will explode! I'm really sure a Steem market cap of $10 billion USD is possible within a year, ergo $40,- / Steem. We can make that happen....!

Agreed! If only I had a decent amount of SteemPower, to help curate top-quality content, thereby "guiding" newbies, showing them what's good (for the market value essentially!) and what's not. Throwing a few cents here and there can really help sparkle "the lightbulb" in people's heads.

I'm also thinking about building some Steem tools myself...

It actually IS a pretty good post by Teddy Cleps, he's over at Bali, apparently, and a real crypto enthusiast. I wonder if we can get him to join us at Steem!
