Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized after he was beaten while in a South Florida LA Wellness steam room Tuesday, as per video posted via virtual entertainment, CBS Miami reports.
The rapper, whose genuine name is Daniel Hernandez and who sports rainbow hued hair, experienced facial trims, his lawyer, Spear Lazzaro, told TMZ.
CBS Miami couldn't arrive at Lazzaro Tuesday night and says it wasn't clear where in South Florida the assault happened.
Video posted on a few virtual entertainment locales showed Hernandez on the floor of the rec center restroom as something like two men kicked him and snatched him by the hair.
6ix9ine was a virtual entertainment peculiarity with a great many devotees on Instagram prior to turning into an ascendant name in hip-jump.
He had a multiplatinum hit tune, "Fefe," with Nicki Minaj, which crested at No. 3 on the pop diagrams, and "Stoopid," including imprisoned rapper Bobby Shmurda.
Lazzaro let TMZ know that 6ix9ine, who didn't have individual security with him, attempted to retaliate during the assault yet was overwhelmed and dwarfed.
The rapper was delivered ahead of schedule from government jail after he helped out policing during a work to arraign individual gangsters, CBS Miami says.
