Hey guys, BSNL the state run telecom operator has recently announced its Satellite Gateway at Yeur which is near Thane, Mahrashtra to provide high speed internet. They also provide his service to remote area like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand. They claim that the network will be scalable up to 50,000+ rural location and they also claim that it will be cost effective because the bandwidth will be on sharing basis.
Now the best part is SPEED, they will provide 100 mbps download speed and 12 mbps upload speed per VSAT. I think BSNL will beat local broadband service provider, if he will provide at a budget price.
