It was interesting to read about the field of engineering. I am working as an aircraft design engineer at Engre.co and I can write some of my experience. Aircraft maintenance engineers can be working in a Line Base Or workshop maintenance Environment. Line maintenance is maintenance that is performed at the ramp. Usually during the turnaround. It can be a transit check, troubleshooting, or component replacement. Nowadays A checks and B checks are also being performed on the ramp. Basic maintenance is usually regular maintenance work. It runs in special locations such as hangars and maintenance bays. Rebuild shops are usually where components are overhauled. Upon completion of the maintenance task, certified staff will sign the release of a service statement indicating that maintenance has been performed according to the applicable airworthiness requirements.
