Parameters as preface, of course I'm opposed to the laws being pushed through in states like Tennessee regarding drag shows. If anything, at least how I'm reading them, they'll be struck down in the courts as violations of the First Amendment -- and I'll support that.

Notice I said had rather than have. I chose that word deliberately because toleration and acceptance of the LGBTQ community is on the decline.

You know why?

It's because you didn't know where to stop. It's because you weren't satisfied with equal treatment under the law, and fairly broad tolerance -- you needed to go after the kids. People see Dildo Rainbow Butt Monkey twerking in front of toddlers, young children putting dollar bills into drag queens' g-strings, and young boys prancing in stilettos and fishnet stockings for hoards of adult perverts, not to mention double mastectomies for girls at young as thirteen who think that they're boys coupled with a push to go even younger and more invasive, and they're not happy. Understandably so.

Really, if anything, you've caused regression. I grew up in a devout Methodist household, and my parents didn't freak out when I wanted to dress up like Merryweather instead of the Prince. It's not like drag shows were a major controversy even ten years ago. What you've created is a valid panic that children are going to be subjected to sex well before they're ready.

If you can't see the difference between Mrs. Doubtfire and Desmond is Amazing...well... let's face it, everybody sees the difference. It's just that a lot of you are lying. You're lying for a reason. You've caused the over correction. You should be just as ashamed as the people that you're shaming, if not more.
