Wednesday the the 24th My partner and I both went to the Australian for our very first time!!!
Getting a parking spot was a bit of a bother to be honest, but once we were inside the gates the atmosphere was just amzing. So many people were there but it never felt over crowded. Plenty of places to buy drink or food. The practice courts allowed us to view many of the tennis stars warm themselves up with a hit of the ball.
We were there all day and I would strongly recommend it to anyone to go and check out. It was an amazing experience and I think it will become an annual even for my partner and I.
We watched A. Kerber and M. Keys play first, then we decided to get some food and beverages. We returned to Rod Laver Arena to witness T. Sandgren and H. Chung (What a match....AMAZING).
We then had a further walk around the venue, got some singlets from the gift store. Also met up with my sister and her friend, had a couple of drink at the bar before heading to Margaret Court Arena to watch the Aussie doubles of L. Hewitt and S. Groth Vs J. Cabal and R. Farah. Unfortunately our Aussies could not bring us home the win and also retired from the sport with the loss. Very emotional goodbye for them during the after match interview.

Nice! Take a walk along the river and you'll find the big AO sign, which is filled up with tennis balls!
