"It feels good to be back in the field and compete again. It is been a long time. Obviously you do not know how you will start it. I spent a lot of time on the pitch in the last few weeks and played a lot of practice, "said Djokovic, quoting from the official Australian Open website on Tuesday (16/1/2018).
"In almost all of these practice sessions, I can feel that I hit the ball well. So I hope this will continue and a little transferred in the first round of this Australian Open. But playing a set of exercises and playing an official match at a grand slam is obviously very different, "he added.
"But I use my experience of the current state of affairs. Often in my life, I make it possible to stay focused and start with the right and the right intensity. I'm just trying to embrace whatever emotions come, but at the same time I try to focus as much as I can right now, "he continued.
