The Terawatt is a patent pending, renewable energy blockchain startup, with a strong focus on monetization and driving global LED adoption. It will automatically use 50-75% of company profits earned from Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) entry/exit fees, profit taking fees, carbon tax data storage fees, purchase record access fees, carbon credits, and even from affiliate LED sales commissions to buyback and burn (LED) Tokens.
Constructive and other businesses will want to accept our tokens for payments because our rate of deflation is much greater than all FIAT currencies and most, if not all, cryptocurrencies/tokens and additionally being more private and secure with zk-SNARKS and masternodes when available. And also they can reduce accounting costs as all transaction data will be stored securely on the decentralized Ethereum blockchain. Moreover, the more tokens they have to enter into the DAO fund, and more voting power, profits, and staking rewards they can receive. Furthermore increase token value due to the network effect.
Goal of Terawatt
Leverage blockchain technology to help reduce global electricity consumption 50% by 2035, meanwhile also increasing light output by 50%. Terawatt will also create a deflationary currency to compete with FIAT and digital alternative like Bitcoin. Terawatt aim to tackle other renewable sectors like Solar, Wind, Electric Vehicles after proof of concept is achieved with LEDs.
Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)
Commonly, these LEDs were most found in small electronic displays in last few years, such as the clock on your cable box. Because the light emitted with directional by each tiny LED and it’s fairly weak, household LED bulbs were on the fringe of mainstream technology just a few years ago.
LED vs Other Bulbs
This LED lighting solutions have never been more accessible or affordable than now. With multiple reduction programs and incentives, more cities are making the switch to LED street lighting. As we all know by now, LEDs are energy-efficient and long lasting which means huge saving on the energy as well as reduced maintenance costs. Such as reduced crime rate, safer neighborhood and overall perceived improvement. These are all benefits that LED street lighting can offer compared to the orangey glow of the high pressure sodium (HPS) street lighting still illuminating most of our street and neighborhoods.
The biggest difference between LEDs and HPS lights is the overall appearance of the light. LEDs not only feature a crisp color similar to moonlight (natural light) , but also a great Color Rendering Index (CRI) of at least 70. That is very important because the CRI is what determines the visibility and ability to see things as intended. Also the CRI for HPS lights, in comparison can be as low as 20. It makes visibility “muddier” and more harder to discern detail and color. When visibility is attenuate, thus is safety, which means an increase in crime. Visibility is associate degree clearly necessary issue once it lighting streets and neighborhoods at night.
