Very interesting article on the various trends coming from several different sources, including the rise of the new left, neo-isolationist sentiments across the board, and even possibly (could it be?) sliver of conviction from Trump himself about actually being independent and against the industrial military establishment. There is a bit of hope that U.S. military imperialism is on the decline after failure after failure. All parties except for the most vociferous and irrational of hawks may finally be tired of the dismal failure of American military interventionism. As the U.S. and the world faces another cycle of financial reckoning the futility of senseless destruction could face a setback... we can only hope.
