I think teasla has a great concept because they produce a lot their own in the Gigafactory and don't depend on others for the batteries. But in order do be successful Model 3 just has to be a success. If it's not I think some of Teslas investors will lose their trust in the company because the competition with other car companies in the electric car sector gets harder.
Right now I think it will work out fine for Tesla because of its popularity. The actual question is how big is the electric car market in general at tge moment. Electric cars with batteries are only useful for trevaling to work and not for long journeys and at least here in Germany there is still a lack of charging stations.
