As Infinite Men, we’re all about keeping healthy, inside and out. Weather it’s daily meditation or simply stopping to listen to the universe, mental health is something we all have become more aware of.
What about our physical health? We all know the basic knowledge that “soda is bad, water is good”, but when is water BAD? Isn’t good ‘ol H20 supposed to be a building block of life?
When it comes to your water and your testosterone, what’s one of the biggest reasons that you’d want water that is being filtered?
Infinite Man Ben Greenfield splashes some cold hard facts in our faces in today’s video. Keep reading to learn why your water matters.
One of the very first things that I do when I travel is hunt down a few good bottles of GLASS BOTTLE WATER.
Not plastic bottle water, but glass bottled water and especially water that has been FILTERED.
But why?
Estrogen and birth control pills. Those are ALL OVER in most municipal of water supplies now. They actually will IMBALANCE testosterone. They’ll fight for testosterone with the cell receptors.
You want to have a REVERSE OSMOSIS filter, or some kind of good water filtration unit. Whether it’s counter-top pitcher or a whole-house filtration unit, the key is that it’s filtered.
It’s simple to start improving your testosterone through your water intake. Set your home up today with a good counter-top water filter, or under the counter water filters.
When you buy your water, you wanna get it in BPA FREE PLASTIC, or in GLASS, or you want to keep it in STEEL.
NEVER in PLASTIC because those maximize your exposure to estrogen.
Water is SUPER IMPORTANT. Not only for the leydig cells in your testes to be able to produce testosterone, but also for hydration and metabolism in general, as long as it’s good water.
Now, the type of water filter your going to look for will be: REVERSE OSMOSIS. It will get rid of most of these birth control pills, pharmaceutical stuff like that in the water.
One thing I realize it’s that it’s SO good, it also filters out minerals from your water.
So if you use a REVERSE OSMOSIS water filter, you’re gonna wanna ADD MINERALS BACK in, by using things like a lot of SEA-SALT in your food.
They even sell supplements called “TRACE LIQUID MINERALS”, that are actually really good for hormones too. You can take a couple of shots of the trace minerals (one shot in the morning & one shot in the evening) if you’re using a reverse osmosis filter.
A lot of good glass bottle water companies have really high levels of minerals. So it’s not difficult to stay hydrated and healthy at the same time.
Ahh!
Wasn’t that refreshing?

I installed a R.O water filter almost 4 years ago. its worth it. my household would spend over 1400 dollars on water bottles a year. with the R.o filter we saved 1400 a year just in bottled water. its better for the environment, less plastic being used.
