❀Dear Steemian Friends....สวัสดีค่ะ คุณเพื่อนๆ Steemian....ภาพถ่าย Landscape ที่เราเลือก มาโพสต์ ในวันนี้ เป็นภาพถ่าย จาก เกาะไซปัน ซึ่งเป็นเหมือน บ้านหลังที่สอง ของเรา...และสถานที่ ในภาพ ก็เป็น สถานที่ แห่งประวัติศาสตร์ เพราะในสมัย สงครามโลก ครั้งที่สอง สถานที่ แห่งนี้ เคยเป็น สนามรบ ที่นับว่า โหดสุดๆ...เพราะว่า ภายใน สามสัปดาห์ ในการรบ...ส่งผลให้ ทหารอเมริกัน ต้องเสียชีวิต มากกว่า 3,000 ราย และ บาดเจ็บอีก ประมาณ 13,000 ราย...สำหรับในส่วน ของญี่ปุ่น สูญเสียทหาร อย่างน้อย ประมาณ 27,000 ราย...ลองนึกภาพ ดูสิคะ เกาะเล็ก นิดเดียว เล็กกว่า เกาะสมุย ประมาณสี่เท่า เห็นจะได้มั๊ง แต่ต้องมี ผู้คนล้มตาย มากมาย ขนาดนั้น โหดร้ายที่สุด

❀ การรบ ในครั้งนั้น ทหารญี่ปุ่น ได้เปรียบกว่า เพราะพื้นที่ ถูกล้อมรอบ ด้วยสันเขา ที่มีการ ป้องกัน เป็นอย่างดี ทหารชาวญี่ปุ่น ได้ยิงทหาร ชาวอเมริกัน ที่กำลัง มุ่งหน้า จะขึ้นสันเขา....แต่แค่ ทหารอเมริกัน ลงจากเรือรบ และขึ้นชายหาด ทหารญี่ปุ่น ก็สามารถ มองเห็นได้ อย่างชัดเจนแล้ว...นั่นจึงเป็น เหตุให้ พวกทหาร ต้องล้มตาย กันเป็น จำนวนมาก....นาวิกโยธิน ขนานนาม สันเขา แห่งนี้ว่า "Purple Heart Ridge" เพราะการบาดเจ็บ และล้มตาย ของทหาร ชาวอเมริกัน จำนวนมาก ณ. ที่นั่น

❀ ภาพด้านบนนี้ คือชายหาด ที่ทหารอเมริกัน ลงจาก เรือบรรทุก และทยอยขึ้นฝั่ง....ทุกวันนี้ ถ้าคุณ ลงเล่นน้ำทะเล แถวนั้น คุณก็จะเห็น พวกซากเรือ หรือแม้แต่ ซากรถถัง ก็ยังมีให้เห็น

ใช่เลยค่ะ โดยเฉพาะ โรงแรมที่ตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับสถานที่ ที่ทหารญี่ปุ่นกระโดดหน้าผาเพื่อฆ่าตัวตาย...และพนักงานที่อยู่กะกลางคืน เจอบ่อยมาก ไม่เว้นแม่กระทั่งนักท่องเที่ยว...เราเคยได้ยินว่า ขอเปลี่ยนห้องกันกลางดึกก็มีนะ!
