Growing up in the slum was so hard since there was no jobs availible, people grew plants and vegetable to get a little money for bills and food. Some people are a little more wealthier so they open their own shop for groceries and sell them for a reasonable price. Before it was like this the economy wasn’t this bad, people had just enough money to buy what they needed, they could pay for their child’s college fund. Majority of the jobs availible now are only in the main citites like Bangkok or Pattaya, most of them would work there and send some money back to their parents but now that the economy went down a lot more drug traffickig went up, people getting rob and killed for a very little money. My mother was so scared she left me and my brothers with my grandparents, she didn’t want it to happen to us so she left and work in the city like everyone else, she was working so hard to take us to Australia and she did it in 9years, she took herself and 3kids with her.
