Preparing to Go To Bangkok Checklist

Am sure everyone has heard the quote if you are failing to plan then you are planning to fail. The same applies to traveling and pretty much everything in life.

1. Thailand allows for Visa on Arrival for tourists from certain countries, so you land there and pay them the fees in Thai Bhat, close to 2,000 Bhat. No you don't pay them in dollars you pay them in Thai Bhat, i heard there is a place to exchange inside the airport but what if its not open that day. That is right you are Fucked. So before leaving your home country have some thai bhatt on you.
2. The Officials check with you if you have enough Thai Bhatt on you for you to survive in Thailand, last i heard was you have to have 20,000 Bhat per person. Sometimes they just trust you and don't check, but are you willing to take that risk?
3. This might seem a bit paranoid, but have multiple photocopies of your passports and tickets, even have them on your phones and laptops.
4. Learn basics of Thai, palms closed namaste style and bow down. Learn phrases such as Kwap Khun Krap(male) - Thank you. Sawadee Krap- Hello(Male). Thai people appreciate that you have atleast tried to learn there language and will be extra polite.
5. Don't raise your voice at Thai people, do you seriously want to get fucked by some Muay Thai kung fu shit? Have you even seen Ong Bak? Do you want that happening to you? Then start respecting elephants lol.
   There is no telling what thai people will do if they loose face. So be calm and collected.
6. Watch out for pick pockets, yea, passport, money, everything gone. Next day begging for some food, do you want that to be you? Am guessing not. So be CAREFUL.
7. Use public transport like the Sky train, cheap and effective. Get some coins from inside, put them in, and get on board. If you have any problems just ask any person nearby, they usually are happy to help. If language is a problem be good at imitations and say where you want to go Like 'Nana', exactly why i told you to learn some basic thai. There are maps inside the stations 'You are here', but do you know where you want to go? If 'no', am sorry.
8. Respect women there and they will treat you right, you can have fun. Women in general enjoy sex, so it is the same everywhere, but since you are in thailand, you might be like i want to fuck her, yeah that one. Hey you lets have some lol. Don't be an asshole this is why Thais don't like foreigners alot. Be nice, play nice. Hope you enjoyed this small checklist. Looking forward to sharing more stories and ideas.
