Becoming the Thai Lion King in Krabi

If you ever visit Krabi, hikking Hang Nak Mountain is a must! I was recommended to go there by a good friend of mine who lives most of the time in Thailand and he was absolutely right, the views up there are stunning!
I rented a bike (250 baths a day) from the hostel I was staying in Ao Nang (I always rent scooters wherever I go since it gives so much freedom), I typed Hank Nak in google maps (also available in maps.me) and I went there. Ao Nang is 40km far from Hang Nak and the road was gorgeous. I love the roads surrounded by trees, palmtrees, mountains... Once you get there, you can leave the bike in the parking and start the hike. There’s no entrance fee but a donation box for the maintenance of the natural park.
I started the hike and the beggining was pretty easy, but then it starts getting more difficult (i am not trained enough though hahaha). The good thing is that wherever you stop to recover your breath you will have amazing views!
I took a little bit more than 2 hours to reach the hill and once there OMG! I couldn’t believe what I had in front of my eyes...the most amazing views ever!! I felt like the king of Thailand up there!!!
Ah! And the trail has signs so it would be very very difficult to get lost!
On the way down I decided to go and take a look at the waterfall (I saw the sign on the way up but I was too focused on reaching the top). More than a waterfall it looked like a fountain hahaha but I guess it was because I went in dry season.

As usual, when I got down my stomach started groaring so I toon the bike and just down the mountain, literally on the beach, I ate the best and cheapest pad thai ever! Maybe because I was exhausted and starving, but it felt like heaven!!!
And of course, after that, some rest at any of the beaches on the way back to Ao Nang makes your day even more perfect!
