วันนี้ขอนำเสนอ ดอกพยับหมอกฝรั่ง Image from : SAMSUNG Note III

เป็นดอกไม้ทรงโปรดของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ สมเด็จพระพี่นางในพระเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 9 เป็นอย่างยิ่ง

ดอกพยับหมอกฝรั่งนี้ มีชื่อไทยๆ ว่า เจตมูนเพลิง (เจต-มูน-เพลิง) เป็นประเภทไม้พุ่มประดับ ออกดอกบ่อยๆ บานสะพรั่งพร้อมๆ กันทั้งต้นเป็นสีม่วงอ่อนๆ สวยงามมาก บางบ้านปลูกทำรั้วเป็นแนวยาว เวลาออกดอกพร้อมๆ กัน จะดูสวยงามมาก บางสถานที่ปลูกเป็นไม้ประดับ เป็นหย่อมๆ หรือตกแต่งเป็นพุ่มก็แลดูสวยไปอีกแบบหนึ่ง ตามแบบฉบับของดอกไม้

ภาพนี้ ถ่ายด้วยกล้องมือถือ SAMSUNG Note 3 จากรั้วของเพื่อนบ้าน แรกแย้มจะสีเข้มๆ แล้วเมื่อบานนานๆ สีก็จะค่อยๆ จาง จนเกือบขาว แล้วก็หลุดร่วงโรยไปตามกาลเวลา

Plumbago or Thai call name "Jet-Moon-Pleong-Pha-rang" is a species of flowering plant in the family Plumbaginaceae, native to South Africa.

It is an evergreen shrub, often grown as a climber, ascending rapidly to 6 m tall by 3 m wide in nature, though much smaller when cultivated as a houseplant. It has light blue to blue flowers and also variations with white or deep blue flowers. The leaves are a glossy green and grow to 5 cm, Plumbago grow best in full sun to part shade.

In temperate regions it may be grown outside in frost free areas, otherwise under glass, Plumbago auriculata is a medicinal herb plant.
