BITCOIN HALVING OR NOT...

I think this is where the answers would come from. Ok guys, not so long ago there was BTC halving, yet BTC price is not halved??? the only halving i experienced was my returns on BTC mining so called companies and Hashocean disappeared weeks before halving. Can someone explain. What is really going on, is Bitcoin still the future????

      Assuming a linear relationship between supply and demand, basic economics says that if supply halves, then price should double (not half).

      That said, Bitcoin had a huge runup prior to the halving (from the 300s to the 600s). This was people anticipating the halving. By the time the halving already happened, it had already been priced in. That's why we've seen little to no movement since.
