{{THANKFUL THURSDAY}}
đToday, Iâm thankful for all those who think, look, and believe different than me. đ
In this age of defending and demanding rights, we often ask ourselves the question of who holds us back more than anyone else â˘â˘â˘ And, in all honesty, we have to admit...
WE ARE THE ONES.âď¸
We narrow our vision and develop helpless and hopeless attitudes that defeat us. We preach tolerance, yet find ourselves giving no grace to those who may disagree.
âď¸Can anyone claim to be âmore enlightenedâ because they donât eat meat, do yoga, or carry mala beads, if they turn and spew hate at those who do not?
âď¸Can anyone claim to be âsuperiorâ because they read the Bible, pay tithes and offerings, or sit in church every Sunday, if they turn and spew hate at those who do not?
âď¸Can anyone claim âascensionâ because they meditate, repeat mantras, or have a galactic team, if they turn and spew hate at those who do not?
The answer is NO!
Whether your pro-choice or pro-life; pro gun rights or pro gun control; Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, or Muslim; Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian; Trump or Hillary; Red, White, Black, Brown, Yellow, or somewhere in between; and all other polar views here on Earth... the moment we spew hate or condemn another for their beliefs is the moment our opinion becomes null and void.
We are the ones who limit ourselves every time we condemn those who are different.
We limit ourselves when we donât stop for a moment and listen to someone elseâs truth, which is just as valid as our own.
Our attitude, compassion, and patience keeps us moving and able to do anything without reacting to the smallest barrier in our way. Be willing to work to initiate and set in motion the good of life, and do it by not stepping on others.
It is wise to keep a constant vigil over our thoughts and action.
In this way, we follow our star âď¸, and reach up that we may lift others up with us.
Your Sister in Truth and Harmony,
Tarah El đâŻď¸đ
