Spending time with Family on Thanksgiving

Today I spent time at my parents house, there are so many of us, we filter in and out all day long, so you never know who will be there when you stop in. Along with all three of my children and both of my grandchildren. Two of my sisters showed up while I was there as did one of my brothers two of my nephews a girlfriend of one of them and they new baby, my great niece.

These are a few of the people I am most Thankful for in my life. Having my three children together in one place.

Having not only my children but my grandchildren together in one place, it has been months since we have had an opportunity to do that since my youngest daughter is at College. I am so happy she came home for break.

I love seeing my dad with my grandchildren. My dad will be turning 79 on his next birthday, I am so happy that he has gotten to meet so many of his great grandchildren, if my count is correct he is up to 28 great grand children. Most of my parents grandchildren haven't started having babies yet, so there will be more to come. One of my nephews contributed to half of those. Sadly if they stopped by today I was already gone. But I was able to capture this precious moment.

Today I got to meet my great niece for the first time. I have been waiting for her mom and dad to call me to tell me to come take her photos but they haven't yet, and they were not staying long, as they had to get a ride as their car broke down yesterday and the person who gave them the ride told them they had 10 minutes. So I did a rush photo shoot on her. We did arrange to do a real photo shoot in two weeks.

I loved spending time with my family today, and love that the homemade Graham Cracker Crust Chocolate Pie I made was a huge hit everyone raved about it. Though my oldest sister who is going on 55 needs to leave the slang like "That Pie is Flame" to the teenagers. I nearly died laughing when she said that.

But one of my favorite pars about today was spending time with these babies. They have my heart, I love my grandchildren so much. Isn't he a handsome little guy?

And this is Gram's little princess, and she knows she is Gram's princess. She knows how to get what she wants from me. It isn't hard I am a push over for her and her brother. My mother's grandfather made the chair my granddaughter is sitting in for my mother when she was a little girl. I love that my grandkids and great nieces and nephews get to enjoy it too.

To Summarize this post I am Thankful for my VERY LARGE FAMILY. There is always someone there for you when you need it when you have a large family. I am also thankful for my now VERY LARGE STEEMIT FAMILY. Steemit is my online home and the community feels like family. I hope Thanksgiving treated everyone well.
