Hello hello!
Today, I would like to share with you my Thank You entry for @coinsandchains' CONTEST - THANK YOU ECONOMY WEEK 6. Thank you @coinsandchains for putting this contest together!
There are many people whom I would like to thank but for today, my thank you goes out to the lovely @cryptocariad 🤗😘.
When I first started on Steemit a few months ago, I came across #needleworkmonday (an amazing community started and hosted by @crosheille and co-hosted by @crystalize) through a random search and I decided to try my first posts on this tag, unsure what to expect.
Week after week, I tried to post what I can (sometimes missing a week in between) and @cryptocariad was one of the first few who consistently supported me with sincere, genuine and from-the-heart comments to my not so weekly #needleworkmonday posts. Then, as I posted more frequently on other tags, @cryptocariad is always there, ever encouraging and supportive.
She would take time to read my posts, to comment and to engage in conversations. I am thankful and grateful for her engaging participation in my posts because it drives me to write and share more. She would give suggestions and try to find a solution together if I raise any problems related to what I write. @cryptocariad is indeed a very kind hearted Steemian friend.
Then, as I got more comfortable with Steemit, I started to make time to read posts from fellow Steemians outside of #NeedleworkMonday. @cryptocariad's posts were one of whom I started to read. When I read @cryptocariad's posts, I was amazed by the breadth of different topics that she writes in, from insects to flowers to plants to mushrooms to gardening to buildings to art exhibitions to drawing to paper cutting to shadows to homesteading to bubbles to baking to fruits to making jam and the list goes on!
She doesn't just post a photo of an insect or a flower or a building, she goes beyond to find out what the insect or flower or building is called, its scientific name, its characteristics or history of it, for example. And she herself is talented in needlework, in art, in pretty much anything that she writes about, even in experimental mode.
She always shares educational content and whenever I read her posts, I never fail to learn from her. I can always feel her heartfelt sincerity in sharing the information and her openness to learn from others as well. She shares what she sees and what she knows very willingly and humbly. She stands for what she believes in and I am inspired, motivated and encouraged by her.
She designs her own embroidery from what she sees in nature, she makes beautiful bookmarks and she writes from her heart. She is one of the many Steemians who gives me hope that there are very nice people on this platform and it is so worth the time and effort spent here.
💗So, @cryptocariad, thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are a wonderful Steemian friend, and I am very grateful that our paths crossed here 💕. I wish you to always be well and happy, in whatever you choose to do, with your family and friends 😊.
To the rest of you, here is a little collage of @cryptocariad's variety of posts:

I am moved, speechless and chuffed all in one... and I do hope you don't think I'm stalking you :D
Honestly now... I do believe that we need to support each other whoever and wherever we are so I'm so glad I've been able to contribute to your staying here.
I have found it hard going recently on steemit and it's by visiting friendly blogs like yours that I'm still here because I am always inspired by your crafts, drawings and what you write so keep steeming on !
💓 🌺 😍 😊
Thank you to the organisers of this initiative and all the best, @marblely on the contest !

💓💓💓🤗😘 To me, it doesn't matter if we win or not (that wasn't my intent to join the contest), but it is a good platform to thank YOU so so much and we get to support wonderful initiatives like this and Steemians like @coinsandchains, @ecoinstant and @freedomshift who took the effort to put this together. And now, we are introduced to @barski! Yay!
If we follow Dory's tune, let us - just keep steeming, just keep steeming, just keep steeming :)

This is great! I have been trying to keep up with the Thank You Economy posts each week. I think @coinsandchains had such an awesome idea for his contest.
I keep meaning to do one for the #ccc bonus round myself.
It is so encouraging when someone follows along across different tags. I think all of us, especially the very new members experiment a lot with different content. That can make it very difficult to get regular followers.
My first real boost here was a couple of people who just follow along no matter how diverse the postings are.
I just love the little collage you did at the end.

Thank you @headchange! Yes, I totally agree! This Thank You Economy Contest is really cool. Sometimes we just need a boost and the right place to say thank you and @coinsandchains has prepared this great platform for us to do just that :)
Yah, I found that sometimes the friends that I follow, they post in different tags and I decided on a weekly basis, to make sure I visit their page once or twice, just to go through their posts. That way, I won't miss much, though it is frustrating when the VP goes down so fast and recharges so slowly! I want to upvote so many good posts but limited by the VP. It won't be fair to the author for me to upvote when my value is low, though it is not that high in the first place :D.
Thank you for visiting my post @headchange and thank you for the feedback on the collage :)

I think we all are having the same problem with the sp going down. I am growing mine as quickly as possible but still keep finding more people I would love to support. The #ccc by @freedomshift is another great project. He is really doing a lot to help people grow.

This post is completely awesome. This is probably one of the best entries I have seen yet.
One thing for the freedomshift bonus you need to copy this code into the end of your post.
This is already in markdown styling....
Again Beautiful Entry.

I have been informed that you are the winner for my sponsorship of 1 SBI.
This is my reply to that -
So, I hope that you don't mind waiting a bit as I monitor SBI's upvoting. But, if you need it done soon, please let me know.
Thanks!

If you get time check into joining the @pifc. It is far more than a contest it has become a growing thriving community. The @minnowbuilder will launch soon to help get more members to minnow status. There is a little prize pool in place but honestly most of us forget all about that once we get involved with the features and posts. We just have a lot of fun finding good blogs and growing together.

Thank you @headchange! Will check them out. So many good contests, so little time!! Yup, yup, I agree totally. It is not so much about the prize but more of the excitement in joining (and trying to meet the dateline :D) and the vast learning that comes with it each time :)

Great to hear that you are enjoying being featured! That is exactly what the pay it forward project is all about. The goal is to bring a little extra attention to the featured blog posts.
The community all takes part in visiting each others features each week. It may be a small amount now but the group is growing very quickly. Also creating new projects along the way.
Pop over anytime there is always a way to take part even if you don't do an entry.

Hello @marblely 😉 you are really a nice steemian with Attitude and Gratitude 💖 love this post so much. I respected those who has a special ability in arts and handy crafts, they must be creative and persistent too (something that I don't have in me😊) needlework is challenging right?

Hello @cicisaja! Aww.. thank you so much for your kind comment. You are a really nice steemian too!! You sponsored so much to help newbies grow. I think you spearhead the @pifc too? I hope to participate in that one day.
Hehe.. there are many talents in Steemit like cryptocariad and those in the #NeedleworkMonday community. I am so-so only :D My work ain't that great but it does give me a sense of achievement in completing little little projects (following readily available patterns so that you don't have to think so much :D). But I think patience and yes, persistence are the most valuable traits needed for needlework because whether it is ups or downs, you will need both of these to strive through to complete the projects. My motivation currently - finish my current supplies to shop for new ones :D.

well.. that's not a motivation but it is a goal, with many things in your head and a big range of exploration except "time" you'll manage it very well @marblely ;), I don't think that i am spearhead for pifc, but I found it so wonderful being with the pifc community, I met a lot of great steemians through the curation contest and it broaden my world.
I stumbled to many great artists just like you in many kind of arts such as cooking, drawing, painting, crafting and so on, but to meet soemone like you who loves to write and take good pictures also a great engagers is really challenging and fun at the same time,
I'm not an art criticus but I like to learn any details of any art works through my eyes, it will shape my mind as well, you know.. appreciation come from the heart not mind, right?

Thank you @cicisaja for your encouragement. I try to manage as much as I can :) Each time when things get a little stressed out - trying to meet datelines for posting, etc, I always have to remind myself to take a deeeeeep breath, step back, just chilllll and remember the actual intent of why I am doing what I do and bring that back to unstress :D e.g. I colour because I love to colour, I do arts and craft because they are just simply fun to do and I write because I would like to share whatever the topic may be (though sometimes, I admit, I don't write enough words in my post :D - I will always remember your 200 words and work towards that goal :D)
Thank you so much for your kind comment again :) Oh you are so nice!! But I agree with you so much, there are such a great pool of talents here on Steemit, and I love it that we are connecting with every part of the world!
We have this amazing arts and crafts "gallery" and "class" that no money can buy! Everyone here shares so much of what they know so voluntarily. I can't help but feel in awe and admiration of everyone's masterpieces in every single thing that they do and share.
And yes, appreciation comes from the heart but what we see and hear shapes the mind. Sometimes, I may have pre-decided that I most probably won't like something but as soon as I open myself up to give it a try, just once or twice more, I realised that it is actually pretty nice and I grow to like it :)

You're very welcome. Some of us are very chatty and others not so much. This has helped me with my shyness. It's great that I can express myself without getting 'a hate' post. If someone disagrees, that it fine. It's when they're rude about it.

Dropping in to visit after finding your post featured by @headchange in her entry into the weekly Pay It Forward Contest. As part of the @pifc community, we would encourage you to check into it.
I really enjoyed reading about the bond formed amongst two people “meeting” here on Steem. Hopefully, these types of relationships will continue to multiply and flourish, as we all grow together!
