I believe the issue is here with the video. Maybe you could adjust the settings so that say, the poeple on your website could watch it.

@ned? If you're out there listening... I love your idea. Very impressive and don't listen to any "nay-sayers" or nitpickers. It's time that youtube goes down with its monopolized centralized politics, advertising, and funding system because it just doesn't work for the whole of society. Steemit will be the first ticket to success as we know it.
We need to start using Dlive or something instead of youtube and be completely unreliant from youtube. First, we gotta dump that stupid youtube logo on the videos, and make our own logo (steem). Next, we need to create a unique video/livestream link system completely different from youtube's. Maybe one that has an embed of the creator's steemit account public key + the video id. But it's too long, right? So, we need a link shortener or encrypted code with the embed. Whatever it is, it should be unidentifable to youtube, making people want to move over to steemit for a better experience.
And lastly... steemians need a referral / affiliates program with incentives to drive people's eagerness. Let the people get steemit off the ground. Reflinks play a BIG role in company success. For every one person that a steemian "recruits", the finder should be rewarded in SBD and SP (i dont know how much. U figure it out). Then, set a monthly contest for the most recruits, rewarding 1BTC divided amongst 10 winners. For the steemians who participated and couldn't win, they should get some sort of percentage so everyone wins in the end. Next thing you know it? Everyone will be doing Steemit and they will have completely forgotten all about youtube. Youtube is merely a sign of the past. Old school. Dust in the wind. You probably DID "break" the Internet as we know it. Thank you. @ned rocks.
