Residents provide help to two victims struck by lightning in Subulussalam. (PM / IST)
PM, Subulussalam - Two brothers in Subulussalam City were struck by lightning on Sunday (22/4), around 15:30 Wib.
The victims were Ramiah Cibro (45) and Sabarita Cibro (38). Both residents Gampong Cepu, District Penanggalan, Subulussalam. Ramiah Cibro reportedly suffered serious injuries, while his younger brother Sabarita suffered minor injuries.
After the incident the citizens and police officers who were on patrol to give help to two victims by being planted in the mud. After that, immediately taken to RSUD Kota Subulussalam.
Aceh Police Chief Singkil AKBP Andrianto Argamuda SIK through Iptu Arifin Ahmad Kapolsek Dating tells, when the incident both brothers were shelter from the rain in Bazis Gampong Cepu.
Suddenly, lightning strikes them, and both fall to moan in pain.
"Victims are planted all over the body into the mud as first aid by members of the Police who happened to patrol assisted by residents," he said.
"One person suffered serious injuries and one of the smallest minor injuries, now they have been taken to RSUD Subulussalam city," he concluded.
