Rencong kingdom of Aceh made of gold with carved knife blade of the holy verses of al-quran currently the gold rencong be longs to the aceh sultan very well kept in state museum
Rencong has various levels for the sultan made of gold which is engraved as guoted verses of the holy Al-quran while other rencong usually made of silver, brass, white iron, wood and ivery
The Aceh comminity connects mystical forces with rencong weapons, rencong is still used and as a fashion attribute in every traditional ceremonies of Aceh
The people of Aceh believe that the form of rencong represents the symbol of Bismillah in the religios belief of Islam
