I gotta admit this specific speedrun surprised me. In the game The Battle of Polytopia, the maps are randomly generated. In my attempts to reach the top spot after some else beat my previous record (I have yet to talk about that here on steemit)
My 15th attempt to break his record (which you can see on speedrun.com) saw the opponent camped right on the outside of my base.
Reaching the 49 seconds speedrun time, I have to admit was luck and the right choice of tribe which allowed me to take full advantage of their long movement through the terrain as you can see in the video.
