I really don't understand, people were upset because he bought a lot of Steem without them knowing and now they are upset because he is selling it without them knowing it. Make up your mind.

That's not even a coherent hypocrisy argument. Yeah, he's being shady and manipulative in both cases. It's bad when the instamine that was meant for development is used for power games and it's bad when it's used for one person's profits.
Would you be happy if Justin actually started dumping Steem? No, of course not. That wouldn't help fix the mess he made.

It is a free market he wants to sell he can surely do it remember if he does get to sell someone else will own it. He also doesn't have to tell everyone what he is doing.
As for Steemit to me it is in way better shape now than at any moment under the previous owners. Don't say it was decentralized because actually if you think of it, in any endeavor there is always someone who controls things, I don't care what it is, I hear BTC is decentralized and yet the price is moved up or down depending on what the big holders do, you know - price manipulation.
