7/5/2020 Entry to the Steemit Diary Game - Church in the Morning Photography at Night

Hello everyone! I had an insanely busy day yesterday. It was the first time in a while, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I currently have 82 notifications to read through, so today might also be a bit of a busy day. . . Let's get into my life!

My Life

Yesterday I woke up at 6am to get ready for church. I took a while showering because I listened to music during it. I did not wind up leaving the house until about 7am, and I took the long route to get there. I got to the church around 7:30am, and got this picture:

I read through the hymns and prelude once, and then proceeded to read through folk music until my coworker got there. She wanted to do a run of the hymns, so we did. After doing that, I setup for the prelude, and used the bathroom before the service.

While I was playing the prelude, I fly started circling me, and I thought back to an old story of Vladmir Horowitz. He was playing at a rehearsal (I believe), and there was a fly buzzing around him. He stopped the orchestra and shouted:

I AM NOT IN NEW YORK! I AM IN AFRICA!

I decided it would be a bad idea to do that in a church service :)

After the service, I drove to the store, and bought Emma flowers. I have done that several times after church, but hadn't in a while so I decided to do that since I'd be passing the store anyway. I then drove to her house and left them on her doorstep, and texted her a message that I thought was clever at the time, and definitely still is. . .

I left something on your doorstep. It's nature's failed attempt at replicating your beauty.

I then drove home. When I got home, I had to write the diary entry, but I got side tracked by several things. The first was Steem. The second was my parents wanted to order brunch, so my dad and I had to drive out to get it. I got steak and eggs, but was only hungry for the eggs, and saved the steak for another time.

When we finished brunch, I decided it was finally time to write out the diary entry. I then got side tracked by a facebook discussion.

After that, I finally finished the entry around 2pm. I then practiced the piano until 3:30pm when my dad and I left to go to the church so that I could record the accompaniment for this week's virtual choir. That took until about 5pm. After we got home, I read through A TON of stuff in Steem Greet. So much that I put some of it off to today so that the account's voting power could recharge (I wasn't sure if the other greeters would be angry if I brought it all the way down to 80 percent, so I stoped around 90 percent. I left the articles that I think deserve bigger upvotes for today when the power recharged.

That took me until about 6:30pm, and I still have a few articles to curate (And 82 notifications). After finishing that, I talked on the phone with my grandfather for a while. He tried to guess what the song is for Music for Steem this week. He did not guess correctly, but I eventually told him what we have planned for this week and next week. He gave me some song suggestions that we are going to do.

At 7:20pm, my dad gave me a speed briefing on how to use our camera for nighttime photography. Emma and I were going to a park last night to try to get pictures of the stars and moon. I left at 7:30pm to pick up dinner from wawa. For dinner I had a turkey hoagie with mayonnaise.

I got to Emma's house at 8pm, and we drove to the park to get pictures of sunset as well as the moon later on.

Here are some pictures we got of sunset:

We also accidentally replicated @ciska's profile picture :)

We had to wait a while to actually be able to see the moon. During that time, we listened to music over the speaker I brought, and we played games over house party despite sitting next to each other. Since I lost those games, I will not be including a screen shot : - <

So before showing you good moon pictures that Emma took, I will show you a sample of the crappy ones I took despite my dad's briefing on how to use the camera:

Let's just say that Emma was a little bit better with the camera than me:

We all have our gifts. She took good photos. I picked out good music to play. We listened to Beethoven's entire 5th symphony, the 4th movement of Beethoven's 9th, the 4th movement of Brahms' first symphony, a bunch of Nocturnes from Chopin and Mendelssohn, and, most importantly, my singing along with all of it.

Emma also got some decent photos with her cell phone:

This is basically the only good photo I took, and it is of the stars:

Well, and this one from earlier, but I had a good subject for the picture:

Anyway, we left the park at 11:30pm, and I drove Emma home. I then proceeded to drive home, and listen to Waltzing Matilda. I went to bed pretty quick when I got home :)

I really like the beautiful photo of you and @esouthern3 (yes, I remember her STEEM name). :)

Yesterday I woke up at 6am to get ready for church.

Thanks God that I don't believe in God!! :) (Not being atheist but more agnostic.)
... I really hate it to wake up early. :-)))

But as a real night owl I also love to be outside at nights and watch the amazing sky.
You made some great pictures there!

What beautiful photography from @esouthern3! It's okay Chris, you are talented too, just at composition and piano. I wish I could be musically or artistically talented like either of you two.

I think you pass a good day yesterday. Happy couple.

Beautiful diary. Read every bit of it. You really have a lot of things that keeps you busy all the time and yet you have time to be with the ones that are dear to you.

Have a great week ahead of you. You have a wonderful time too.

❤️❤️❤️❤️
