7/9/2020 Entry to the Steemit Diary Game - YouTube and a Choir Rehearsal

Hello everyone! Yesterday was yet again another day in my life. So I must write a diary entry about it. Not much happened, but I will still describe for you what did happen.

My Life

Yesterday I woke up around 8am. I took a shower, and read through the 100 days of Steem. The plans for the Steem Pod are definitely a lot to process, and I am not sure if I plan to apply for the country representative position. I am going to college in August, and I don't know how much time I will have to dedicate. If I did apply for such a position, I would make it clear that I might not be as active come fall. I will think about it as Steemit releases more information. I do want to considering the work I've already put in.

Around 10am, my friend and I played minecraft bed wars together. We won A LOT. It went really well because we can both speed bridge (though he can't diagonal speed bridge so I had to when that was needed), and we are both decent at pvp, so we could go in opposite directions and take care of the teams next to us.

I also messaged this friend about joining Music for Steem with his girlfriend, and they are considering it!

Around noon I began work on the diary entry for the previous day. That took a little bit of time. I finished it around 1pm, and then watched YouTube videos for a while. I watched this video from Jordan Peterson about Disney movies. I love learning about the themes that he thinks are present in Disney movies:

At 1:30pm, Emma and I played minecraft bed wars together. That lasted a while, and around 3pm my other friend got on and we played 3s. We did alright! Towards the end, he and I did some 1v1s in the bridge game, and I got absolutely demolished. I had tried to teach Emma via that game, and I think she was mad that she couldn't beat me, so I thought I'd let her watch me get absolutely demolished by someone way better than me.

Around 4:15pm, I watched the news. What is going on in America right now is fascinating to say the least. I will avoid discussing my opinions here because it is not something which I wish to be public information as someone who hopes to someday make a living as a composer.

I watched until about 5:30pm when I decided to take a nap. At 6:30pm, my father woke me up and we watched an episode of the Twilight Zone. The episode was about a ghost of a cowboy getting angry about the way cowboys are portrayed in TV, and showing one of the actors what it's actually like to be a cowboy. It was rather entertaining.

After that, I went to a virtual choir rehearsal for my church's virtual choir. I recorded the accompaniment last Sunday, and the choir is going to start recording their parts over top of it. I also have to record the tenor part since we need more tenors. I am really a bass. I promise.

After the rehearsal, I made a recording of this week's hymns for the substitute singer to use to practice. We had dinner around 9:20pm. We had steak, lactose free mac and cheese, and broccoli with lactose free cheese. That was all very good!

After dinner, we watched an episode of Yellowstone. I have not enjoyed this year's season as much as the others, and I think the cowboy from the Twilight Zone would have a thing or two to say about the way cowboys are portrayed :)

After we finished watching that episode, I went to bed. I watched a few YouTube videos before bed, but went asleep rather early.
