SteemIt Challenge Day 46 asks us to talk about THE PLACE we want to visit when the Pandemic is declared over.

Fortunately, I live in a red state. The government did not close access to places; However, since we are practicing "social distancing" the pandemic has reduced our encounters with other people.

So, the thing I would like to do most when fear of the virus subsides is to attend meetings.

I have a long standing interest in Health Care Reform. I cut my teeth in IT as a programmer for a state run insurance company. I wrote computer programs to track insurance claims and calculate insurance premiums. I also worked with state insurance auditors.

I grew to detest the insurance insurance.

Please note: I worked for a State Owned Insurance company. State owned insurance is also known as "socialism." I got the inside scoop on the dream and realized the dream was a nightmare.

After leaving insurance, I began researching free market alternatives to insurance; So, I have a lot to say on this topic. I just happen to know how to reverse engineer insurance to create a system that better matches free market. It is a fascinating topic.

It takes about an hour to explain the process. The process starts by discussing the actuarial model used for insurance. Then, one can discuss the weak parts of this model and create a better model.

But, lets get back to the post at hand.

The post asks what we would like to do after the pandemic.

Well, what I would love to do is to either host (or attend) a meeting about Free Market Health Care Reform.

A working title for the meeting might be "The Blockchain and Free Market Health Care Reform."

The first meeting would discuss the mathematics involved in funding health care.

After the meeting, there would be a work shop to create a blockchain style alternative to insurance.

It would be a really fun event. All that is needed is a few people interested in health care reform.

I happen to live in [Salt Lake City, Utah](http://slsites.com]. I could host the meeting here. Utah has beautiful mountains in the North and enticing canyons in the South. The hotels are reasonably priced. The meeting could take place at a campground. I am not picky.

The meeting could be on the shores of the Colorado River in Moab . It could be in the mountain resort of Park City. I am also willing to travel. If there was a group of people interested in free market health care reform, I would be happy to bring my ideas to a different state.

Since I mentioned the state of Utah, I probably should mention that I am not a member of the Mormon Church. The people in this state are hostile to those who don't belong to their religion. I dislike belief systems that divide people into us v. them.

If anyone would be interested in such a meeting. Suggest a location for the meeting. The people matter more than the location. At this point in time, a small group of people brave enough to discuss alternatives to big insurance could make a huge impact on the future.

Anyway, my entry from 100 Days of Steem Day 46 is that I would love to attend a meeting about free market health care reform.

I live in a scenic part of the Mountain West. I would love to host the meeting. The locals are a bit hostile, but I am willing to travel. Here is a picture of some pretty flowers:
