This is your story and you write it how you choose to. Through @youarehope and @kofpato a lot of MUCH needed school supplies were delivered in Ghana. Kofpato and and SirCork have become like family to me and I adore them both beyond what words can convey. With so much suffering and horror that is happening it is important to remember that for every whalewar or dramafest there are groups writing the script differently.

We had no idea that in a matter of days that this Initiative would be carried out so rapidly, we had no idea some of our names would be on these backpacks and it made some of us cry it was so sweet and touching. This is empowering people who sometimes don't have a voice. So while a bunch of people whine and want to smile and be scamming, there are plenty of us who do more than just try to make fast money and only care about themselves. This is Love in Action!

Great to see people working together to bring real change to people's lives. It is incredible to think that someone can type some words onto a screen, and share some ideas, and the end result is people getting food, or medicine, or school supplies, or keeping a roof over their head.
Those who have a nice following of readers on Steemit are in a unique position to do something good with that "fame", rather than just continuing to stack up the invisible coins.
If some of the huge accounts on Steemit were to put just a small percentage of their gains into an effort such as yours @battleaxe, many people would receive the benefits.
