What Is #thealliance?
I hope everyone is starting to see what we are doing here on Steemit, the support everyone showed for @goldenarms was phenomenal! (see below for his win) If you are new to an alliance post, let me put this in as simple of terms as I can. We are a TEAM of quality content creators and curators - allies. We strive to do several things for each other. First and foremost, we try very hard to visit each other's posts and at the bare minimum, make a comment. This way, we all know you were there and what you thought if you choose not to make your presence known in other ways. We know you can't upvote everyone's posts effectively, but knowing you were there and showing your support is vital. It's just like saying, "yo team, we got your back." Real simple. If you are interested in joining the ranks and want to become an ally, comment below and one of our members will check your profile and see if you would be a fit with us.

As some of you are already aware of, @michaeldavid has completed the training of The Sneaky Ninja. It was a long and arduous task, but after many trials and tribulations, the defender and protector of the alliance has emerged victorious! So, in case you missed the memo, @michaeldavid will no longer be selling his votes and our ninja will be assuming his duties. (See below for his rules) Be sure sure you follow him and help him out along his travels, he deserves our support!

Of all #thealliance members, this is the one you should pay the most attention to. His sole purpose is to be trained to engage and support #thealliance activity. Now, some of you may or may not have noticed, but our little pet is growing, bigger by the day. His job is to curate excellent posts with #thealliance tag from members as well as resteeming and tweeting them out. Throw him a fish or two if you see him chomping on your posts or comments. If it's a 'killer' post, you'll know 🐬

I have checked out your posts and though a little shorter than I was hoping, they are very well written and you engage with your audience very well, i.e. asking them questions and for their opinions. I don't see any copy and paste nonsense and the best one I read was the one about holy matrimony and married couples. I see almost all of alliance members are new to me. And that's where the fun is as I love to network with new people. How about you? Are you a tightly knitted group?
