This might sound Gibrish... these are just mixed thoughts after a long and tiring day. I knew there will be some like this on the way, I knew it will be difficult to even pull my s**t together to sit down and make a few replies. But I guess this is the worst of all.
I slept approximately 5 hours, I got up extremely early and drove twice 300 km to a distant city (there and back), I held a workshop in Performance Management and Appraisal (tough and provocative topic), I rushed home while having my daily shopping on the way... and here I am. Absolutely thoughtless, brain-dead and the only thing that comes to my mind is a list of duties I still have for the day (quite sick, right??):
- I need to cook some food for the family (we usually take breakfast and lunch from home)
- I need to write a post for the Beast
- I need to catch up with all the replies that I have received since yesterday evening and I didn't have time to look at during the day
- I need to pick up the boys from their evening training session (another 2x15 minute driving... LOL)
- I need to practice with my sons for the English exam they are having this weekend
- I need to catch up with my #met curation which I couldn't finish yesterday because I have run out of curation tokens...
- I need to run over the topics and the schedule of the workshop I am leading tomorrow (mentoring)
Not a short list... Now comes my time management... Considering that I will be absolutely useless in approximately 3 hours from now, how can I fit all these into the time window I have? I have to give up my perfectionism here... let's see what I can postpone for tomorrow (I hate that) - well, maybe curation and replies could wait. But I still have 5 to manage, so I have app. 30 minutes for each... Should do if I maximize my efforts... (what? do I have such??)
Well, any ideas are welcome or at least cross fingers for me...
