Fast shipping and price was on par with competition. Previous reviews stated the provided power supply was not powerful enough. If you are running the latest builds designed for the Pi3 B+ you will not have any issues. The power warning shows up if you run a standard pi3 build.

Bought one of these to run Octoprint for my Creality Ender 3 printer. So far it's working great. Awesome little computers for not a lot of money.

I used this to create a cocktail table Mame machine. Worked great and have other Raspberry Pi's for other projects and they are great. This one is no exception. The included power supply powers it fully so no issue with low voltage.

Package arrived super fast (despite coronavirus) and all was neatly packed. Was a pleasure to put it together, using included document and online.

I've ordered both this Vilros and the Canakits and they're both great. I've got to give a slight edge to the Vilros though, as this kit comes with a sd mem card (comparable CanaKit does not), the case design is a little easier (and more transparent), the fan is much quieter, a fourth heat sink, and the instructions are very clear (again, the kits of both brands are great).

Bought an SSD and USB connector (Inateck 2.5 Hard Drive Enclosure, USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Case, UASP Supported, FE2002 ) separately, and with the latest (post october 2020) firmware managed to get the Pi4 to boot up from the USB drive! Note that not all USB drive connectors are supported, but this one works.Am using this as a PVR using NextPVR for linux, using SchedulesDirect as the source for the program guide. Using the HDHomerun Extend as the source for the video. The Pi4 is more than capable recording two programs (HD as well) - only when using Kodi and custom skins do you tax the processor a bit. The only reason for that is that there's no hardware acceleration built in to assist with transcoding.I try to use the Pi4 directly connected to my tv - but it's also possible to use Kodi clients (on Android, laptop) - the Pi4 supports all that. This kit is complete - a nice case (clear, with fan built-in), the sd card ready to boot, power supply and hdmi cable.5/5 would buy again :-)

Great charger, works well, very reliable and all. I However, I think the seller is playing games with me. I ordered the black one initially then got the white one. I was like whatever they probably ran out of stock or something. A week later I needed another one so I ordered the white one to match... well I got the black one. Like I'm just so confused lol

A lot of the use cases for Raspberry Pi kits will do with cheaper power supplies that come in bundles, however, if you intend to use more power (like constantly reading and writing from and SSD or HDD) get the Official Raspberry Pi PSU. Save yourself some trouble and avoid kits, get this one!

A power block doesn't have a touch screen, for beginners? its literally plug into the wall plug into the pi, easy to assemble? It came assembled.Other than those weird questions it came fine and tastes great! I mean uh it works great!

Adafruit MicroSD Card Breakout Board+ [ADA254]

It worked first try, setup was as easy as soldering the connections.

Great product! Worked the first time without any tinkering. Before buying this one I wasted $4 on a cheap foreign version. SD chips are very fussy about voltage fluctuations and length of wires. Adafruit has accounted for this and made it virtually fool proof. =)

Works great, easy to use.

I really like this form factor for my ESP32 projects - plenty of space for the ESP32 and peripherals. My last project was for stepper motor controls - and I was able to fit 4 stepper boards on with the ESP32.The splitting the power rails on either side was also very helpful - I used on side 5V and the other 24V - much appreciated !

I have been using the Teensy processors from PJRC.COM for about 7 years, and doing Arduino projects with the Arduino Uno before that.I tend to use prototype boards like the ElectroCookie 'solderable breadboards' to bring out a micro-processor with a lot of connection points. Either I will do this to allow experimenting by having a micro-processor that bring out various specific sub-features or possibly for a specific design. As I change my mind, I can remove the micro-processor and all of the devices connected to it, and move to another board. For example, my current focus is the Teensy 4.0. I want to have a board that has the Teensy 4 standard pins (14 pins on each side) + the breakout board to access the underneath solder pads (10 more pins on each side), bring out two separate SPI connections for two different displays (10 pins for each SPI connection, one per side), a connection for I2S sound output (8 pins on one side), a block of LEDs that I can plug random pins in for debugger (8 pins on one side), voltage converter for neopixel lights (8 pins on both sides). So this needs a lot of pins.ElectroCookie makes 2 boards that can handle larger projects like mine (the large PCB board with 2 groups of 63 pins and 4 rows of power lines, and the double column board with 4 groups of 30 pins and 6 rows of power lines). This review is for the large PCB. At the moment, I haven't actually used the ElectroCookie PCB, but I am impressed with it.The ElectroCookie large PCB compares nicely with the Adafruit Fullsize Perma-Proto PCB (2 groups of 60 pins and 4 rows of power. Like the Adafruit board, and unlike many of the other boards, the ElectroCookie board is double sided. That means you can solder the connections on either side of the board. I often times do this, by having female headers that I put the components into on one and the wire doing the connections being soldered on the other side. The ElectroCookie has a few features that make it better than the Adafruit board IMHO.It is easy to join the power rows with a small wire soldered in. In the Adafruit board, you have to have two much larger wires running across the boards to join the power and ground lines on each side. The ElectroCookie board has 3 large M3 mounting holes like the Adafruit board, but it also has 4 smaller M2 holes on each end. These M2 holes allow me to use stand-offs to get the board off of the ground. It adds stability, and prevents accidental shorts.

These are good, solid, tough bus-boards. They take desoldering well. Thoughtful mounting holes. You won't regret buying them.
