Bloomberg published an article about the plans of Winklevoss brothers for the development of the Gemini bitcoin exchange at the Cboe Risk Management Conference in Florida. In a short time, the exchange will be replenished with such cryptocurrencies as Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin.
This statement is very important for the derivative exchange Cboe Global Markets Inc., a partner of Gemini, which previously made it crystal clear that it could add futures to other cryptocurrencies as well.
According to Tyler Winklevoss, the agreement with Cboe is based on an extensibility model, that is, the deal is concluded with the possibility of expansion in the future.
Due to the expandable agreement, theoretically, Cboe has all the options to add futures to ETH, which is already traded on the Winklevoss stock exchange, however, certain actions are required from Gemini to implement these plans, namely the addition of new assets, since the auction price of the exchange is the basis of bitcoin-contracts.
