There used to be a giant statue on the entrance to the seaport of Rhodes in ancient greece, and was known all over the world for being an incredible achievement. Unfortunately it does not exist anymore so we cannot actually see it which is sad. The pyramids were able to survive because of their strong structure, but a statue like this would have a very hard time existing without constant repairs and care. It would be wonderful to one day be able to see this recreated and appreciate just how intelligent the humans of the time were.
