3 days no sign of life? Looks like they were hit hard, now :-)

I was listening to the CCC OpSec lecture this morning. Maybe they missed it.

These comments are still available :-)

Still available at busy and some other frontends.
maybe time to set up a darknet version oder better a complete decentralised GUI

I was almost sure this stuff is crap. Lot of insurance shit in terrible specialised English. But they seem behind it like hell. Maybe we should have a deeper look inside this stuff.
Or maybe the other hacks are the reason. "FRS_Health" or "AdvantageLife"

I think so. Does anyone know how to put up a totally free STEEM owned by everyone? Sponsored by donation only. Contact me.

The problem isn't the frontend but accessing the blockchain through internet which makes it hell slow. So when running a GUI like steemit or busy or insteem ie. it is a good idea also running at "witness" which is nothing else but keep the whole blockchain as well as its own API-Server on the same machine or at least local network. This make it running smooth.
But when accessing the blockchain through a third-party system it is not only slow but they also have the power of filtering what we see and able to display.

One should run witness-sever as well as API-Server and steem backend within an RFC1918 address space and make it available through onion-router ONLY.
"authorities" would have lot of fun.

Quite cool to have some censored pages now for further tests. Wonder which functions are affected.
If we keep it like this we may stay on FaceBook.
Things running more and more strange in this world so it is essential to keep at least a few parts of the internet uncensored without regulations by the regime.
