So, first of all my self-Sourav Kumar.On your first day with the Hash it is best to turn up totally empty handed even if you already know this stuff. Don't ruin the fun for everyone else by being overly prepared. You are supposed to be unprepared on your first day and perhaps for several times after that.

However, there are a lot of people that don't have bad reactions to certain things that happen on a hash and you should be made aware of the "off road nature" of what it is that most non-city Hashes actually participate in. The entire idea is that we are not on pavement as much as possible.

Although trails vary from place to place the off road dynamics of South East Patna anyway dictate that there are going to be quite a few spiky plants and foot to knee level and some of them can be sharp and will stick to fabrics, especially socks. If these little thorns get into your socks and therefore your shoes, you are going to have a bad time because they are really difficult to remove.

It is of course totally up to you how much punishment you want to endure but there are very few people that turn up to these things in flippy floppys and don't end up regretting it. You are here to go off road for 5-10 km and you want to do that in flip flops? Well, go for it champ, I guarantee you regret it unless you have the feet of a caveman.... fitness and cycling is my favourite activity.

Did cycling for about 20km and it was fun.

The homeland of cosmos is the tropical regions of India. There it is called "Mexican aster". More than 40 species of this flower are known, mainly annuals.

The pretty pink Cosmos that threads through the partial shade here has finally flowered. Trying to make a little romance in the shadows.
